Welcome to Central Elementary




The opening date for board candidates to file for the April 4, 2017 school board election is Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. Candidates should file at the Union R-XI Administration Office (located in the high school building-door #1), #1 Wildcat Drive, Union, Missouri. The closing date for filing is Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. The regular business hours of the Administration Office are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Administration Office will be closed for Christmas Break from 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 and on Monday, January 16, 2017. Filing will not occur on days in which the district office is closed due to inclement weather.

Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that provides the books kids want to read. It's a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. 
Reading for pleasure inside and outside of school has real and long-lasting benefits. It unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are. Please make plans to come to our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child's reading habits. 
Remember, all purchases benefit our school. See you at the Book Fair! 

Online shopping will be available Nov 24 - 28.

Books will be available for purchase at the Central Elementary Gymnasium on Dec 3.
